As a first-generation immigrant and a bilingual therapist (English/中文), I understand the complexities of navigating culture, identity, and belonging. Living in the Bay Area’s fast-paced, high-pressure environment can make even the most accomplished people feel unsettled.

I’ve worked extensively with clients from top global companies — including OpenAI, Microsoft, Riot Games, Chase, Biotech companies and others — who are outwardly successful yet still struggle with stress, self-doubt, and finding meaning.

My work focuses on helping you:

你好,我是陳嬿安,一位心理治療師兼臨床社工(LCSW)。 大家都叫我嬿安,或在與孩子工作時叫我「小安阿姨」。

我出生在台灣,是正港的「歹丸郎」。在台灣從事多年兒少保護與高風險家庭社工後,我於 2016 年來到美國,在 Colorado State University 完成社會工作碩士,之後隨家庭定居在北加灣區。

身為第一代移民,我深刻理解跨文化適應的不安、語言的不自信、以及在高壓環境中努力生存的疲憊。這十年間,我從年輕學生成為母親,也陪伴了無數在灣區打拼的工程師、新移民、國際學生與在地家庭。我發現 無論是 OpenAI、Google 的高階專業人士,還是剛來美國的年輕移民,或從小在美國長大的ABC,每個人心裡都有一塊柔軟卻沒有地方安放的部分。 在「必須完美」的期待下,人們反而更難表達脆弱,而那份壓抑的孤單常常讓人深深疲累。

在過去社工與臨床的旅程中,我有機會與不同族群共同工作——兒少、家庭、學校、醫療體系、長者團體、安寧療護……每一段經驗都形塑了我對「人的韌性與故事」的深度理解。2023 年,我完成專業時數並成為 LCSW,開始獨立執業。

我喜歡諮商,因為每個人的故事都獨一無二,也因為治療從來不是要變完美,而是讓我們能更自由地呼吸、流動、感受與活著。我希望成為一個讓你能真實存在、被看見與被理解的地方。

  • Who I work with/服務對象

    I welcome clients of all backgrounds, cultures, genders, and identities.
    我服務不同文化、性向、性別認同及社會階層的來訪者。 如我評估議題不在我的專業或執照範圍內,我會協助提供轉介。

  • How I work/治療方法

    I use an integrative and evidence-based approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, MI, IFS, and psychodynamic therapy. I may also use worksheets, creative activities, or mindfulness tools when helpful.
    我運用多元且實證的治療方式(如認知行為、辯證行為、內在家庭系統、心理動力等),並可能搭配學習單、繪畫、影片或其他創作方式讓治癒更有深度與彈性。

  • Progress & treatment length/會談長度與歷程

    Most therapy is long-term, but we will discuss your goals during the intake session and review progress about every 12 sessions.
    多數心理治療屬於長期,但我們會於初談設定目標並每約三個月檢視一次進度。 若是以解決問題為主的短期會談,約 3–4 次即可完成。

  • Therapeutic relationship/治療關係

    Therapy is a collaborative relationship, not an authority hierarchy.
    心理治療是合作關係,而非上對下。 我不會直接給「答案」,但我會用我的專業與經驗全力協助你找到屬於你的方向。
